A girl and boy are sitting next to each other on the bench. The chilliness of the afternoon is making the hair on his arms prickle. Downtown Vancouver dentist Fotolia_6875841_XS.jpg

He sizes up the situation by thinking, "To heck with it, either she will or she won't." Gets off the bench and kneels down. Tries to pull the ring out of his pocket. Drops it because his fingers have sauerkraut on them.

The ring rolls to the ground like a dime…

He gawks at her, not really having played out in his head the sudden embarrassing turn of events. He's shocked to see that she's crying. She hugs him firmly and tells him softly, "Yes I will!"

An appropriate ending line might be happily ever after. But marriage is a long-lasting enterprise. It takes work to keep the fire burning. A lot of people get neglectful after they've been married for a while. Oblivious that our spouses need impulsiveness. Whether they show it or not.

A little excitement here and there goes a long way. Permanent faithfulness is the pledge of marriage. With that in mind, let us work as hard as we can in the pursuit of bringing them delight. Apart from taking comedy classes, we have to move heaven and earth to guarantee that they laugh (or smile at any rate) on a daily basis.

Okay, so you say that you're the dullest person in the whole world. What you lack in joke-telling abilities, you can make up for by caring for your surroundings. Taking notice of them and yourself.

Yes, I'm not kidding. Take pride in your appearance. Having several kids or grandchildren doesn't mean you have to go around looking old. Visit the beauty parlor. Keep your hair tidy. Go shopping. Only buy clothes that provide that tasteful yet ageless look. Have a complete makeover.

Give me a visit in my Downtown Vancouver dentist office and I will give you a mouth makeover that will leave your partner itching with enthusiasm. When we get the Downtown Vancouver porcelain veneers positioned, you'll look like you time traveled back to the day you got married. Let me handle the teeth. You can take care of the rest.
