In my Downtown Vancouver practice as a family dentist, I give each member of your family the wellbeing they need and the smile they're looking for.

For example, I treat a lot of adolescents. Teenagers are distinctive patients, because they usually need special dental care including special cleanings after seeing an orthodontist. I clean the teeth of children who wear braces all the time.

Also, I sometimes put sealants on the teeth of my patients. Sealants don't cost very much and they keep your teeth in good shape without dental work.

I also enjoy performing dental work on senior citizens. Most of them need dentures or partial dentures or fixed bridges — we perform lots of these.

My approach is always conservative. I will always do what will require removing the least amount of tooth. I will try to save teeth if at all possible. I will recommend the right home care so you can pass up a trip to the dentist, or can put off procedures.

And I am always aware of how important you and each member of your family is to me. If a member of your family is frightened of the dentist's chair or has questions about a dental procedure, I will slow down and take the time I need to to ensure they know what is going to take place and are comfortable with it.
